With The DR's Laboratory brand conceptualization and business development beginning in 2020
and its establishment in 2022 marked by the optiMize Social Innovation Grant at The University of Michigan,
DRL's first full year arose from January 2023-January 2024, which involved its recognization as a voluntary student organization at The University of Michigan while also being operated by a team for a consecutive 12 month time span.
