The DR's Laboratory L.L.C. is the pioneer Process-Production CompanyTM (PPC)
This new entertainment model has raised $29k in 5 months at The University of Michigan. 
Using the PPC model, our goal is to build Black equity in the arts through:

Research

Firsthand research used to understand existing problems faced by Black audiences & artists. 

Process

Original methodologies that solve the problems Black artists face behind the scenes.

Production

Original Productions that solve the desires of Black audiences on stage & screen.

The DR's Laboratory wins big in first full year!

With The DR's Laboratory brand conceptualization and business development beginning in 2020
and its establishment in 2022 marked by the optiMize Social Innovation Grant at The University of Michigan,
DRL's first full year arose from January 2023-January 2024, which involved its recognization as a voluntary student organization at The University of Michigan while also being operated by a team for a consecutive 12 month time span.
